Kakuidake Park known as Walker’s Park is located on the route of the Kyushu Nature Trail on the mountainside of Mt. Kakui, 470 meters in elevation. The park has an administrative house called “Kakui-no Mori Yuhodo” which provides information about the trail routes and flora as well as a resting place. The park boasts kaempferi azaleas that bloom in late May in a natural setting of trees, plants, flowers, birds, and other animals.
