About a 20-minute drive from Sasebo Station, Shirahama Beach is a popular swimming spot blessed with clear blue water and a white sand beach. The picturesque scenery created by the white sand and the sunset over the World Heritage, Kuroshima Island attracts many tourists and photographers. Saikai National Park Shirahama Campground is just next to Shirahama Beach. It offers outdoor activities such as playing at rocky shores and fishing in the sea breeze. It will be crowded with families during summer. An early reservation is recommended.
